General Safeguarding advice for parents and members of the public
If you're worried about a child but they are not in immediate danger, you should share your concerns. Any person with concerns or suspicions about a child in Flintshire being harmed should contact:

If you wish to contact outside of office hours, please telephone the Duty Social Worker on: 0345 053 3116.
• They will discuss your concerns with you and ask you for as much detail as possible. They will investigate your concerns and if necessary, make a plan to protect the child. This may involve adding the child's name to the Child Protection Register. They will respect your right to confidentiality.

Organisations that work with children and families must have safeguarding policies and procedures in place.

Their trained professionals will talk through your concerns with you and give you expert advice.
However,if you think a child is in immediate danger, contact the police on 999
